Homemade "Washitape"

I spent some time with my friend Hanna and her daughter L a few weeks ago, where we made our own "washitape" - or rather coloured paper tape.
We went bananas with watercolour, acrylic, stamps, stencils and whatever we could find to make patterns with :)

All inspired by Jennibellies video tutorial: Homemade Washi Tape Tutorial

Another face

Well, when I've started with something (faces in mixed media for example... ;) I just can't stop.
So here is another one. A bit smaller than the first one, and with darker shades.
Created while listening to Lord of the ring, don't know if it has something to do with the result or not, but still a fun fact ;)

Life Book 2014

CRASH, BOOM, BAM! I'm going to participate! :D

I'm so exited, I just want it to start now! This will be my first ever online course that goes on for a while. And first time with Life Book as well.
Want to join me in this adventure? Sign up! :D
(yeah, it's a bunch of money, but I think it will be worth it. You can do as me, chose the "3 Part Instalment Payment Plan)

Face in Mixed Media

I found this: "Art, Heart & Healing" .
That is a FREE online course hold by Tamara Laporte. (Free stuff is cool!)

I made this face while watching the video and following her instructions, and then of course some free styled personal additions.
I am so proud of this one, the first face I've done that I really like. Yay me! :)

What I used:
Water soluble crayons, watercolour pencils and white acrylic.
Painted on a Gesso-coated paper bag. :)

Art journal page "Exclusive Edition"

A quick picture from my Instagram, showing the latest art journal page I made.
I was prepared to work on it for hours and hours yesterday, but suddenly it was done. It's so funny when that happens, when a page or a piece clearly tells you that it's DONE. FINISHED.
And you have nothing to say about it. :)

More than 'art'...

... like some historical crafts:

On our table in Visby, for the Medieval Week this year.

test 2

and second test to see how it will work out.

test

Just a test, to see how it all will look.
